Latest version 4 and 5 has a problem with Windows 7 automatic window arrangement. [Correction: it doesn't affect version 5.]
Returning the program from a minimized state undoes the window arrangement. This may be from an unnecessary SW_SHOW (MSDN: "SW_SHOW ...displays it [the window] in its current size and position."). Last edited by John Peterson on 30 Apr 2012 22:12; edited 3 times in total |

Can you give me more details?
I've tried this: 1) Drag WinSCP main window to the edge of the desktop 2) Minimize WinSCP main window (clicking the minimize button on the window title bar) 3) Restore WinSCP main window (clicking WinSCP taskbar button) It worked correctly. WinSCP main window was restored to the snapped position. _________________ Martin Prikryl |

That's correct. It doesn't affect version 5 as I previously wrote.

Sorry, I'm lost. You wrote "Latest version 4 and 5 HAS a problem"...
Just to be sure, by :latest version 4", do you mean 4.3.6? And by 5, the 5.0.6 beta? _________________ Martin Prikryl |

It affects 4.3.7-1679, not 5.0.6-2074.

The bug has been added to the tracker: http://winscp.net/tracker/show_bug.cgi?id=844 _________________ Martin Prikryl |
