Topic "directory listing error"

I am launching the current beta version (older versions
show the same behavior though). I am using the default
setup and interface (windows commander style). When I
start a remote session from a windows XP professional
machine to a SUSE 9.0 machine, I get an error with
the remote directory listing. The message is
"Error listing directory '/home/main3/singh'."
and in the detailed listing:
"Unexpected directory listing line 'drwxr-xr-x 198 singh cmr 12288 2004-07-10 08:31 .'."

Any ideas?

Use SFTP instead of SCP.

For list of reasons WinSCP cannot parse directory listing and possible resolutions, see documentation.
