WinSCP 6.3.3: Intermittent Connection Issues

I have recently added an ED25519 Hostkey to my SFTP Server. After adding it I tried to test it by connecting to my server using WinSCP v6.3.3.

I received the following error:
Remote side sent SSH2_MSG_EXT_INFO not either preceded by NEWKEYS or followed by USERAUTH_SUCCESS
I have the option to 'Reconnect', which I do...and after several attempts it connects successfully. Sometimes I connect and I don't get the error at all.

I have connected using an alternative SFTP client (OpenSSH on Windows 11) and I don't seem to get this error at all.

Please find below an extract from my WinSCP Log.

Hi Martin,
Many thanks for your reply.
I'm not using OpenSSH on the server, I am using a commercial product (Tectia Server v6.6.2).
For reasons which I cannot explain I cannot recreate this issue – it now appears to be working without issue!
Sorry for messing you about!
