Topic "Session storing - NOT to remember passwd"

Author Message

Is it possible to store sessions without the password?
I'd like WinSCP to remember hostname and username for some session but to prompt for this user's password everytime a stored session gets recalled...

It is possible. Just do not enter password before you save you Session. Note, that there was a bug in recent version of WinSCP, which caused that the password was attached to saved session during login, when "Remember last user directory" option was one. This should be OK in current version (3.2.1).
