I am using winscp 4.1.8.

protocol: FTP

when changing perms of a symlink actually the target gets those permissions - not the link itself

Is this ok ? Or it is a bug?

AFAIK it is not possible to change permissions of a symlink.

I believe that there is nothing to fix. AFAIK symlinks have always full access (permissions), you cannot change it.
