Preferences dialog is used to configure general interface, behavioural and other settings of WinSCP.

To show Preferences dialog go to View > Preferences in Explorer interface or Options > Preferences in Commander interface. You can also open the dialog before opening the session from Preferences tab of Login dialog.

Note that when Preferences dialog is opened from Login dialog, the tabs available directly from the Login dialog (Logging and Interface) are hidden.

Further, you can export your configuration to an INI file using Export button.
