2008-05-21 17:39 Comment It has been observed with FileZilla Server that it does not acknowledge STOR command after otherwise successful upload of large file. Hence it makes WinSCP think that upload has failed and restarts.

FileZilla client seems to succeed to work. But this is probably only because it seems to simply log "Timeout detected" log entry, without any retry attempt (which it does not support).

Comment The same issue with Pure-FTPd.

Not checked if it the same server-side issue, but looks similar.
2009-01-25 14:16 Comment Possibly related to Issue 363.
2009-06-22 09:06 Comment Possibly related report stating that the problem disappears when Windows firewall is deactivated

2009-06-22 09:14 Comment Though the above report is for downloads, not uploads.

2009-08-12 20:53 Comment I'm still looking for someone patient enough to help me trace this problem!
2009-10-14 20:13 Resolution FIXED
Fixed in 4.2.4
Status RESOLVED
Comment Quick and dirty solution: When connection breaks during transfer and after reconnect the target file has the same size as source file, do not restart transfer. Consider transfer successful instead.
