 +  * When your remote machines definitions are stored in PuTTY Sessions and suddenly "say" "Host does not exist" when you try to connect (here there was no typo whith the hostname, as I didn't change my PuTTY Sessions for quite a while now),  you may have problems with your ssh host keys which leads putty to display this message: I solved it by typing "''putty user@hostname''", and PuTTY asked me to accept and store the server pubkey, and finally all my PuTTY sessions are working fine now.
