<Try to describe precise steps that lead to the problem (where do you click, what keys do you press, what do you see, etc.)>
<If relevant, consider attaching a session log file or a screenshot)>
I removed the directory on local computer (w:\Downloads\{removed directory} ) while having winscp session active and when returned to this session:
- one instance of winscp crashed
- another session of winscp in different window is stuck with Error window and not responding
It seems like reading local directories and drives is not done asynchronously, but locks winscp completely and possibly leads to a crash.
I am still having huge issues with Winsp when connecting to opened sessions on my RDP machine:
- winscp seems to be not responding for a few minutes after RDP connect/reconnect - might be related to change of resolution/monitor from different RDP clients or similar OR to different local drives that are present via RDP
There are possibly other lock/wait issues - it seems like winscp writes to ini file which might be locked by another winscp instance and thus some operations make it very unresponding - i tried to disable all storage in ini files, but it still writes lot's of ssh connectoin states there.
best regards, stan

I know how to reproduce the problem or the problem happens frequently enough. I wish to be contacted by the WinSCP team to help resolving the problem.
