I clicked on the side of the app so that I can switch folders and I tapped the down button on my keyboard. This didn't lead to the folder I wanted to see so I passed it some more times. Made the app crash.

In my case, the cause may have been a repeated click to the "refresh" icon (equivalent to pressing F5). I admit I may have pressed it before the previous refresh could complete.

In the directory window on the left I was trying to select a folder beginning with the letter "t" by typing it so it would scroll down to the next item starting with a "t", and then I got this error.

I tried to access a directory 2 levels higher than previous on the remote system by clicking on it in the directory tree. I am accessing the remote system (in Europe) from Britain via a public internet (westbound) a Juniper VPN access point in the US and then a corporate VPN (eastbound).
