@TerraMae: I'm sorry you feel offended. But I did not made the codes up to annoy you. The codes are calculated from Microsoft locale codes/API.

The list shows Brazilian Portuguese as the default Portuguese and Portugal Portuguese as a variation.
Sorry for that. But I'm reluctant to implement an exception in WinSCP code just for a technicality like a translation file extension is. Infallibly, such change would introduce some hard-to-find bug and in the end annoy much more people, than .ptg file extension does.
(There's no "German Czech" locale in Windows)
