This error is reproducible when trying to drag a folder from the WinSCP folder tree into Windows Explorer.
I am using WinSCP to connect to a RedHat Linux box. WinSCP in in Explorer UI mode - tree view on the left, file list on the right.
I am trying to copy a folder subtree from the remote system to the local Windows machine by dragging the subtree root from the WinSCP tree view into Windows Explorer. The error dialog is posted as soon as I start the mouse drag.
However, if I select the parent directory of the subtree root in the WinSCP tree view and then drag the subtree root from the right-hand pane in WinSCP, the copy operation works fine (no error/exception).
