Mails to/from Luca Truffarelli on June/July 2008.
Bug is initiated by receiving WM_GETICON message to early, initiating window creation to allow subclassing to early. WinSCP is not able to cope with this for yet unknown reason.
Temporary workaround implemented in WinSCP 4.1.4 not to initiate subclassing on WM_GETICON reception.
Lowering priority, once workaround was proven working.
The same bug was reported on Windows XP.
WinSCP receives registered message (0xCxxx) leading to the problem.
For Windows XP problem:
Mails to/from Vladimir Synek on July 2008.
Workaround implemented in WinSCP 4.1.6.
Subclassing is not initiated until window handle is assigned.
Due to lack of new reports, declaring this bug as fixed.
