I cannot read file panel font. How can I make panel font bigger?
The file panel font follows system-wide icon title font setting.
You can either change:
- Overall size of items for whole system:
- On Windows 10, go to Settings > System > Display and change settings in Change the size of text, apps, and other items.
- On Windows 8, go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display and change settings in Change the size of all items.
- On Windows 7, go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display and change settings in Make it easier to read what’s on your screen.
- Size of the font for list views (file panel) only:
- On Windows 10, the option was removed in recent versions;
- On Windows 8, go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Change only the text size; select “Icon” and change font-size.
- On Windows 7, go to Control Panel. In search box on top-right, type “metrics” and click Change windows colors and metrics in search results. On the dialog that appears, find Item drop down menu and select “Icon”. Use Size drop down menu next to Font to change font-size.
- Use custom font for the file panel.

You should close WinSCP before making system-wide changes and restart it afterwards.
