What exactly did you do, when you have "tried comparing 2 files"?

The Behavior of Comparing a Local File with a Remote File is an Unfriendly User Experience

I just tried comparing 2 files for the first time using WinSCP. One is local and one is remote, of course. So, I seen a Windows Command Prompt pop-up, lots of screen scrolling, and then the Windows Command Prompt disappears. Okay, that was fun. Where are the comparison results? I even checked the WinSCP log file and it didn't say anything. Maybe I'm the one at fault here. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can someone please help? Thank You!
