I'm sending you an email with a development version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

Thank you.

If you need further logs or information from me, I will be happy to help.

I can delete, rename, and move files using the GUI. I cannot do those things using the CLI/console.

What is working in GUI? There's no equivalent of stat in WinSCP GUI.

I have no clue why the SIZE command is failing. FTP is not a strong suite of mine. From the GUI everything looks and works fine.

If you need me to provide more logs or to perform some additional actions, just tell me what.

Re: Unable to retrieve file information

Do you know why is the SIZE command failing? Does it work at all?

Unable to retrieve file information

Hello,

I'm running an FTP server on an ASUS RT-AC57U V3, and wanted to automate some tasks with a script. The mv command was not working from the script so I tried inputting the necessary commands manually using the console version of WinSCP, but it didn't work either. The stat command is also failing. WinSCP works fine with from the GUI, it's the commands/scripting that are not working.
I created an FTP server on a TP-Link Archer C2300, and commands are being executed properly, so I'm guessing ASUS are screwing things up with their FTP implementation.

I'm using the latest WinSCP version 5.17.8.

Is there any workaround for this? I don't want to have to buy a new router.
