Directory removed behavior when reconnecting

This is not an error per se, just an annoyance
I'm using commander mode
In the left pane I'm in C:\d1\d2\d3
Host I'm connected to goes down, reconnecting happens
d3 is deleted
d3 is recreated
Host goes up, reconnect is succesfull
Left pane resets to C:\

Expected behavior:
Left pane to show new C:\d1\d2\d3
If not possible, preferred behavior would be to reset left pane to C:\d1\d2 instead of C:\
