The next version will support two local panels:

Not synchronization yet, but that might be the next step.
Though if this is about the files in folders only (not subfolders), it will allow comparing the files between the panels (and transferring the different files).

Local Folder Sync &
This would be a great feature for moving large numbers of files between 2 folders on the same machine in a very similar way that you are able to do 2 different servers at the same time.
