I haven't really had time to try out any others, this is the only one I have ever used. Which would you recommend trying? I desperately need something that works.

I spoke with the tech guy from the provider, they can't see anything on their end.

Are you able to login with any other client? Did you try contacting your server administrator/hosting provider?

I am not very knowledgeable with servers so I may just have a simple setting wrong here, but I have been using WinSCP for the past year a lot, and the program has been great – very easy to set up and use.

But in the past couple of weeks I am having a lot of trouble just signing into my FTP server, I keep getting

Connection Failed
Timeout detected. (control connection)
Connection failed.

on an endless loop.

I can sign into my server through the browser, but not WinSCP. Any advice is appreciated!
