Thanks, that did the trick.
Although "not recommended" I saved the password. Because it's a computer generated string of non-sense. My site has nothing to lose, but free information.

WinSCP doesn't remember login password

Just installed WinSCP on my new computer. Setup same session as on old computer, but at each login it asks me to type the password. Can't find a setting to remember PW. Am I missing something?
