Re: Problems with certain connections after upgrading to WinSCP 5.2x

Would you please give us detailed instructions for reproducing the problematic session?

Re: Problems with certain connections after upgrading to WinSCP 5.2x

We tested and the problem exists since 5.20 beta. Find the debug log with a 5.20 beta and 5.19.6 session attached.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks for your report. Is 5.20.4 RC the first version with the problem? Or did earlier versions of 5.20 have the problem too?

Problems with certain connections after upgrading to WinSCP 5.2x

Hi,

We are facing problems with establishing certain connections after upgrading to WinSCP 5.21.1. The connection fails with the following session log
. 2022-08-03 10:49:29.276 Agent forwarding enabled
. 2022-08-03 10:49:29.279 Updating forwarding socket -1 (1)
. 2022-08-03 10:49:29.279 Selecting events 63 for socket -1
. 2022-08-03 10:49:29.279 Error selecting events 63 for socket -1
. 2022-08-03 10:49:29.279 Attempt to close connection due to fatal exception:
* 2022-08-03 10:49:29.279 Cannot setup network event (error 10038).

This is a proxied connection with key-based auth, therefore using agent-forwarding. In addition, the session is tunneled on the client side. It's working with WinSCP 5.19.6, but not anymore with 5.20.4RC/5.21/5.21.1.

Find attached the session logs of a working connection with v5.19.6 and non-working with v5.21.1.

Let me know if you need any further info.

Thank you for your support,
Martin
