@anonym: Does Cisco support SFTP?

WinSCP will not work with Cisco

WinSCP will not work with Cisco switches and routers... It relies on BASH, or any type of Shell file to pull the files...
martin

Then I doubt I can help you. Sorry :-(

SFTP is not supported by my router.
martin

I'm not sure if your router is able to handle SCP protocol, the way WinSCP does. Can you try SFTP instead?

Ok, here's the log...
martin

You need to turn on logging. Please check documentation.

Where's the log file kept? I'm using the standalone version.

Thanks,

WinSCP 3.8.1 + Cisco equipment

Hello,

Anyone ever use WinSCP with Cisco hardware? I can't get WinSCP 3.8.1 to work with my Cisco 871 router. WinSCP authenticates and displays the router's login banner, but that's as far as I get. WinSCP cannot start a session. NOTE: I can connect to the router (from the same PC that WinSCP is installed on) just fine via PuTTY and SSH.
