The "Server sent passive reply with unroutable address error" part is probably not relevant to your problem. The "Failure writing to local file" is. The message comes from the server. If you were previously able to upload the very same file, something must have broken on the server meanwhile. Haven't the server run out of disk space? Or your account out of its disk quota? In any case, you better contact your server administrator/hosting provider.

Most likely the server host reconfigured their firewall/FTP server and forgot to use their public IP address for external access causing the FTP service to produce this kind of issue.

Server sent passive reply with unroutable address error

Error message as follows:
Server sent passive reply with unroutable address 172.17.0.3, using host address instead.
Copying files to remote side failed.
Failure writing to local file.

No changes to existing use pattern or setup, just started getting this error. Updated to newest version, no change to error message.
