It's possible that Windows "natural order numerical sorting" does not work well for your file names. Try to turn it off:

Alphabetical sorting seems to be broken

The alphabetical sorting of hexadecimal increasing filenames (that are created one after another and not touched again) does not match the time-sorting, which is unexpected.

Please see attached image "Sorting broken.png".

Why is it in the top picture
00000005000001F4000000FF

00000005000001F5000000A0

while there is also a file
00000005000001F500000000

as you can see in the bottom screenshot?

In case this is important: There are 2758 files in this (remote) directory.
