WinSCP almost hang up with big folder

When my "Local" directory is a network shared disk with ~500 files (\\server\path\) and this disk has a slow response time, then every click on WinSCP interface results in hanging for a while with Not respond message the in window header. So work turns into meditation ))
Suppose that WinSCP re-reads the "Local" directory too often.
