Hello Martin,

thanks for clarification – this seems to be the cause of the issue.

With kind regards,

Hello Martin,

as you can see in the attachement, i have set simultaneous connections to 6.

Thanks,

So is the problem that the transfer is slow because you are transferring lot of small files using one connection only? You wrote that you have tried to use multiple connections. But the log does not show that.

Hello Martin,

i've attached the files with the transfer-specific log section.

Thanks in advance,

Extremely slow Upload and Download speed, currently unuseable

Hi there,

just wanted to switch from FileZilla to WinSCP but i'm pulling my hair out because of the transfer speed.
Overall the speed is ~ 10kb/s at average, no matter if upload or download. I tried multiple connections, disabled/enabled optimized buffersize...it takes ages to upload a folder with thousands of files.
It's not related to the CPU, the usage is barely 0.5% when transferring files.

Compared to FileZilla its at least about 100 times slower which means unuseable at all.

There are so many users with this problem so it's definitely a WinSCP thing.

Thanks for any info
