Version 6.1.2 works when connecting to IPv6 address.

Reproduce by putting
fd15:64a:f9ec:9f2e:: gets replaced by fd16 with error 'cannot find host'.
Reproduce by putting
fd15:64a:f9ec:9f2e:: as the host, then try to connect.
