Unfortunately this doesn't work for me. This issue annoys me a lot.

I can specify more detail on the issue:

1. Far hangs only after you make some changes to the opened file or even move cursor. It doesn't hang if I press Esc right after F4.

2. I have Colorer plugin, but it seems that it doesn't affect on the issue.

3. It hangs wheather you open a file from remote or local location. But if I open from remote location colorer plugin doesn't work (maybe other issue?)

well, i finally found this option :)

it was uncheked.
as i made it checked the issue i reported disappeared.
very funny is that as i unchecked this option again to reproduce the issue -- F4 exits just fine!

so, now this iissue is away...

maybe smth was not initialized before one enters menu or before changes checked-unchecked status of this box...

Thanks for the great plugin! I have the same problem reproducible regardless of whether [x] "Upload after every save" is checked or not. This is how I reproduce it:
- open WinSCP session at the LEFT panel
- edit file at the RIGHT panel (local file)
- Far Editor hangs after save (although the file has been saved OK)

Versions:
- FAR SFTP/SCP client plugin v1.5.1 based on WinSCP 3.8.2
- Far 1.70 beta 5 build 1634
- OS WinXP Home

hi,

FAR plugin WinSCP makes FAR hanging after exit from edit mode (F4).

to reproduce this bug one even does not need to
connect to anywhere. Just start FAR, open WinSCP
in a left panel, open some local folder in a right
panel and open local file for editing, now press ESC.
Here my FAR does not respond anymore. Without activating
WinSCP pluging F4 works just fine

(i have also 2 monitors attached)

P.S. many thanks for WinSCP far plugin!

It will be fixed in the next release.

Hi,
if I have WinSCP (3.8.2) displayed on second monitor and want to edit file (F4), the editor is displayed only few pixel width. It's annoying to resize them everytime I open new file to edit.
