Re: A feature to Copy File Content to Clipboard using Context Menu.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for considering this.

This feature is relevant in the context that many users are now using AI apps to write code, so the constant copying and pasting of code to and from files has become a repetitive task.

I assume that once this feature is implemented, WinSCP users will find it very convenient.

The recommended context menu features are:
Copy code from file to clipboard.
Paste clipboard code to file.

This would allow WinSCP users to avoid having to open the file in the editor, saving both time and keystrokes.

I hope this clarifies the use cases.
Thanks.

A feature to Copy File Content to Clipboard using Context Menu.

Current Situation:
Currently, users must open files in an external editor to copy their contents.

Proposed Feature:
I propose adding a new context menu option that, when right-clicking on a file, allows users to copy the entire content of the selected file directly to the clipboard. This would make the file contents easily accessible for pasting into other applications.
