Great, that worked outright! Finally I can clean up folder full of unused temporary webp images. Thanks for the quick reply and useful features!

Thanks for your suggestion. Implemented:
Issue 2336 – Thumbnails for WebP images
You can enable WebP support even in the current (6.4.1) release, by running WinSCP once like this: 
WinSCP.exe /rawconfig Interface\RemoteThumbnailMask=+*.webp

WebP support for thumbnail previews

Hello,

thanks for adding thumbnail previews in the latest versions. While it seems to support JPG and PNG files it unfortunately doesn't seem to support WebP files. Please consider adding these, because for us (Foundry) Virtual Tabletop users many images are in this (unfortunate) format.
