Re: Error with every upload

It seems that you have very restricted permissions in that folder.

The first problem is discussed here:
Upload of file .. was successful, but error occurred while setting the permissions and/or timestamp. If the problem persists, turn off setting permissions or preserving timestamp. Alternatively you can turn on ‘Ignore permission errors’ option.

For the second, you can disable "Transfer to temporary filename":

Error with every upload

I have just installed the software and seem to be getting an error with every upload.
In each case the file, whatever the type, can be seen in the destination folder. However, although an error message says the transfer has been successful, another problem is highlighted. If it's an HTML file, it suggests certain permissions (like timestamp) need to turned off (although I don't know where to do this) or, if it's an M P 3 audio file, it adds "partfile" after the file extension and says it is unable to rename the file, and so returning it to its original file name. All uploaded files, whatever the type, are inaccessible when testing online.
I would have thought there must be a single central problem with how I have set up the software, but I can't see anything wrong in any of the preferences under Options.
Help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
