Re: WinSCP moved to an new server and now all my winscp.com scripts are prompting for passwords

I'm glad you resolved your problem.
But if WinSCP GUI can login then the commandline should too. As long as they use the same configuration.

Re: WinSCP moved to an new server and now all my winscp.com scripts are prompting for passwords

I resolved the issue. Apparently exporting/importing configuration from one WinSCP to another does create the Sites and you can login if (with the password was saved), and it will not prompt you, but only in the GUI. Connecting from command line, it prompts. If I create a new Site and save the password, then connect from command line, it will not prompt.

WinSCP moved to an new server and now all my winscp.com scripts are prompting for passwords

WinSCP was moved to an new server and now all my winscp.com scripts are prompting for passwords. I did not setup the old server. My command line open ftps://username@ftp.somewhere.com/ will not connect and I get prompted to manually enter the password. Where was the password kept on my old server so it got passed through?

Thanks.
