WinSCP does not have any specific needs for antivirus exclusions.
Though of course, it's a networking application. So if your antivirus have a strict firewall included, then WinSCP process (not directory) needs to be allowed through.

Hi there,
We are busy with implementing Microsoft Defender suite and we want to know if it's needed to add the installation directory to the antivirus exclusion list of is this not needed?
