Thanks for your report. Can you please be more specific about the problem? What happens when you try to create a new file? I've just tested it and it seems to work correctly with VSCode, when I configure it as documented:

WinSCP can't create new files when VSCode is the default editor

I set VSCode (in new process) as the default PHP editor. Everything works fine except I can't create new files, whether they are empty or not.

I have to keep switching back to the internal editor to create new files.

Any idea how to fix this?
