Re: dealyed compression not supported

It would be nice seeing as that is the default in most sshd deployments. :)[/quote]
Once it is implemented in PuTTY... :-)

Re: dealyed compression not supported

Any chance WinSCP will support delayed compression at a later stage?

Re: dealyed compression not supported

WinSCP does not support delayed compression.

dealyed compression not supported

For some reason wiscp does not enable compression if the compression is set to "delayed" in openssh (the default). IF set to "yes" compression works.

Hi,

I have enabled compression in the ssh login panel, but the zip-icon at the bottom of my winscp window is still red-crossed.

How can I get this working?

Ralf

P.S.: When double-clicking on the zip-icon, I see the following
SSH protocol version = SSH-2
SSH implementation = OpenSSH_4.3p2 Debian-5ubuntu1
Encryption algorithm = aes
Compression = No
File transfer protocol = SFTP (v3)
------------------------------------------------------------
...
Additional protocol information
The server does not support any SFTP extension.

Re: Compression

What kind of compression do you mean? Do you want to compress data sent over the SSH channel or files?
