What version are you using? Try the latest one (3.1). Problem you describe should happen only either with some old version of 2.x branch or if you transfer file in ASCII mode.

Why WinSCP is using so much memory ?

I am transferring a 76MB file, under task manager I see WinSCP2.exe using 78MB for VM size and Mem usage
is about 83MB but it is changing constantly and jumping to 130MB at times. Why WinSCP is using so much memory ? The progress meter is also totally unrealistic and does not reflect the actual data transferred. I am sure we could do a little better job here :-) Did anyone tried to transfer 1GB file with WinSCP ????????????
