Re: Trying to switch back to ssh 1 protocol, transfer speed the same.

If you select "1 only" and you server would not support SSH1, than connection would not be estabilished. You may also see actual SSH version on status bar of main WinSCP window. To speed up transfer, you may try to select different preferred encryption.

Trying to switch back to ssh 1 protocol, transfer speed the same.

I have been reading through other topics about transfer speeds. SSH 2 encryption slows down the transfer speed alot.

So I selected ssh protocol "1 only"

When I connect up and try transferring. It stills goes at the slow speed of 100kb/s solidly.

Do I need to change my ssh version on the server to 1?

I thought this would be backward compatible though.

Thanks

Neil
