Try going to File(s) > Custom Commands > UnTar/GZip.

How to extract tarball file
Hello - I am new to this forum. We were hosting a website through one of our other offices on their server but that office closed and we had to find new webspace. So, we opened a package with 1and1.com.
The tech guy at the office that closed uploaded a .tar zipped file to the webspace. It is about 1GIG due to media files. I now need to extract these files.
I was told by 1and1.com to use SSH and download WinSCP. They said that I can extract the files directly on the web server. I am logged in and see the tarball.tar file. However, I have no idea how to extract the files.
Can anyone help?
