WinSCP Unresponsive After 1-2 Hours Transferring Large File

Session protocol = SSH-2
File transfer protocol = SFTP-3

After one to two hours of transferring files that are around 200MB, or greater WinSCP, gradually becomes less responsive to the point where it is no longer responsive and the transfer has stopped as verified on the server end as well. Once I realize it has stopped I end the process and resume transferring but it has not been able to get through one of these files unaided yet.
