Copying files from remote side failed

I was able to login, see the files and I attempted to copy a file from the log directory (YYYYMMDD.txt) file into a junk directory on my PC.
I got a 255 error on the copy.

Any suggestions. I have created a log file and can email it if necessary.

Command failed with return code 255.

I just downloaded WinSCP2.1 and I am receiving the following error when attempting to copy files from a UNIX-based remote host:

Copying files from remote side failed.

I am using a Windows XP system. Please help.
