you should be able to login with any user/pass that has regular ssh access to you box... be sure that sshd is running though.

by default, root does NOT have access... there is another post on this section of the forum regarding that. the config file is in /etc/ssh/

if you don't know what ssh is or how to start it I suggest you read the readme's on the homepage of you distro of *unix (what version are you running anyway? linux/bsd?) or visit www.openssh.org for some more info.

Logging in

Is there a default username and password to remotely connect to a unix box? If there isn't a default, how can I create one? Presently the sofware is loaded but I can not connect to my remote box.
