Yes, silly me, WinSCP 3.3.0. Sorry about that.

Re: drag & drop cannot create new directories in SFTP mode

It still works for me. However I have found some problem dealing with SFTP paths. The problem may occur only on some hosts. So it may be your case. Can you please try it with WinSCP 3.3.1 beta build 189?

I use the Norton Commander interface, and drag one directory from the left panel (local) to empty space in the right panel (remote).

Re: drag & drop cannot create new directories in SFTP mode

I have just tried and it works for me. Can you provide me more information:
  • What interface do you use (Norton Commander/Explorer)?
  • Do you drag file from local panel of WinSCP or from other application (Windows Explorer)?
  • Do you drag one or more directories?
  • Do you drop directory on empty space on panel, some file or another directory?
  • Post a full session log is possible
camield

drag & drop cannot create new directories in SFTP mode

When I drag & drop source directory 'Test' to destination directory /home/winscp, winscp tries to create the wrong directory /home/winscp/Test/Test

Logging on the server:
Oct 16 14:50:47 zigzag sftp-server[19487]: debug1: mkdir id 3086 name /home/winscp/Test/Test mode 0777

WinSCP pops up a dialog like this:
Can't create folder '/home/winscp/Test/'.
No such file or directory.
Error code: 2
Error message from server: No such file (?)
Request code: 14

Creating a new directory with F7 works ok.

Regards,
Camiel
