Unable to upload files.

Hello,

I am logging to my hosted web space using FTP and passive mode (I was unable to connect with SFTP).
That is what was recommened by my firewall.
Now I am able to log in and see the directories, but I am unable to upload anything.
I read this thread:

And it seemed relevant.
But I was unable to find where to change my MTU or MSS on my firewall.
What should I do?
