If you hang the WInSCP window off-screen at the bottom, so only the title-bar is showing, then any "problem" or "event" boxes that open are placed off-screen in an invisible location, and can't be interacted with...
they can be moved on-screen with alt-space, but it's tedious.
dialogs and notifications should always appear on the nearest currently visible screen area please :-)
