Ok, thanks for responding :-)
There are not checksums in SFTP-3. Though the underlying SSH protocol does kind of checksums on session-layer. Hence unless there's unlikely hardware failure when reading/writing files, the file can hardly be corrupted during transfer.
Hi
I am using WinSCP with SFTP-3 protocol.
If I copy files from a Linux server to my computer, will the protocol ensure each file is properly copied.
In other words will SFTP-3 check file sizes or sums? Is this built in to this protocol?
