Can you give me more details about the errors you are getting?

We are using multiple file transfers in a day with one winscp session on various scheduled time.
The batch program is not providing extensive error logging. If the active session hangs, other tasks are being affected.
Is there a way to execute the winscp commands form Visual basic and handle the errors so-that the session can exit gracefully?
