Re: Crashes on longer file uploads
Please note that I have just changed the download URL in previous post.
Before posting, please read how to report bug or request support effectively.
Bug reports without an attached log file are usually useless.
Just FYI: I recently upgraded to Winscp 3.42 and immediately found the same behaviour: Crashes when uploading bigger files with "scp" ("norton style").
This happens with:
- Red Hat 9.0
- SuSE 9

Sorry, but I have no other hint for you :-( These kind of problems may also be caused by network problems. But it is hard to tell if it is your case.
What is your SSH server? You may try to turn on option "Miscomputes SSH2 HMAC keys" on Bugs tab of Login dialog in section "Detection of known bugs in SSH servers".
Why did the server close the connection?
I do not know. Maybe you'll find some useful information in your server's log.
Why did the server close the connection?
Your server closed the connection. However reaction of WinSCP to the event (abnormal program termination) is evidently inappropriate.
