Please keep in mind that my problem occurs when I try to use the following way
My Network -> Our Proxy -> Internet -> Remote FTP server
and you will use
Your network -> Maybe your proxy -> Internet -> Remote FTP server

You might not be able to identify the problem if it's related to the proxy.

I only used GUI.

Remote directory "/" listing:
WinXP with WinSCP = Yes
WinXP with other client = Yes
WinXP64 with WinSCP = No
WinXP64 with other client = Yes

By the way. For me LazyDayzofSummer seems to have a problem that might be linked to mine.

OK, if you use GUI, do you get remote directory listing at all?

Sorry.

Yes it worked with Filezilla on WinXP 64 as long as the files were smaller then 30 MB. I tried to use WinSCP to get rid of the 30 MB size problem.

With Win SCP it's not working on my WinXP 64 systems even if the files are smaller then 30 MB.

Dear Martin

yes on both operating systems (Win XP / Win XP64) FileZilla was working. Everything was fine up to file size of roughly 30 MB. The transfer of bigger files started but the file never became bigger then 0 byte at the target directory.

I assumed a misconfiguration of the proxy and changed to WinSCP. Without changing everything on the proxy configuration files far bigger then 30MB were no problem from WinXP clients.

Remark:
I tried to use keep alive commands with both programs and OS but nothing changed.

For security reasons I replaced the confidential things in the log files by ...
I already marked the relevant differences in the logs in red.

I am using WinSCP Portable Version 4.2.7 (Build 758) placed in a network directory.
The GUI is working with commander style.

First I thought it'ss related to the different OS (WinXP / Win XP64) but I read WinSCP is working fine on both OS.
