Re: Can an Alpha server be accessed?

Thanks for the update.

The server configuration is not modifiable. This is the location of the application on which our business is done, and is how the vendor configures as is their standard.

Since FileZilla is capable of using this directory structure, would that be a potential enhancement to WinSCP?

Re: Can an Alpha server be accessed?

Probsbly not, unless you can instruct the server to use Unix-style paths.

Can an Alpha server be accessed?

Is it possible to connect to a corporate alpha server with an address such as $1$ABC1:[00.HELLO]?
I am able to use this format in FileZilla, but corporate policy dictates WinSCP.
When I use this as the Destination location I get the following error:
Could not retrieve directory listing
Failed to set default directory to /$1$ABC1:[00.HELLO]/$1$ABC1:[00.HELLO]/.
file specification syntax error
Thanks,
RBlack
