I do not know Contribute. I've been trying to find out if it is a client software or some webserver. I believe that it is client. I also found some notes about SFTP support in Contribute. If it is really a client software and it supports SFTP, then I do not understand, why your need WinSCP, when it does the same (in terms of file transfers).

Compatable with Macromedia Contribute?

I'd like to use Macromedia Contribute 2.0 to allow us 'non technical' types to continually update our website. Our IT guru recommends using WinSCP for any external connection. Can I run Contribute 2.0 with WinSCP?
